DIY: OMG These are the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies - With Tips

These will have you saying, "OMG, these are the best chocolate chip cookies in the world!"  Everybody will want the recipe for these big, thick, soft, wonders!

I discovered a few amazing TIPS to make the perfect chocolate chip cookies. Here it goes - room temperature eggs, room temperature SALTED butter, sift the dry ingredients, under cook the cookies a little, and let them cool on the pan. Combine these tips with your favorite chocolate chip cookies or use my recipes below...

Soft Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 stick of Salted Room Temperature Butter (8 TBS)
1/2 C Sugar
1/4 C Brown Sugar
1 Tsp Vanilla with a few extra splashes
1 Room Temperature Egg
1 1/2 C Flour
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 C Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Set the butter and egg on the counter and allow for them to reach room temperature.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Blend together the butter, sugar, vanilla, and egg. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet and blend together. Add chocolate chips and mix. Form the dough into 9 large balls.

Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until the cookies look dry, risen, and ever so slightly golden. To insure ultimate softness, do not over cook these cookies. Allow them to cool on the pan for 20 minutes or so. Enjoy! Don't forget to share this recipe with a friend!
