The very first day our carpet was put in, the installer's pen exploded leaving us with deep blue / purple ink in our brand new carpet! I was mortified at first until I found out that Rubbing Alcohol removes pen stains from carpet. I also think that our high quality, stain resistant carpet might have something to do with it coming out so easily. But hey, if this ever happens to you, give this a try!
