Cool Down After Workout and Filtered Water1:07 PM
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Brita at Target. All opinions are 100% mine.
It's true, I broke down and bought a gym pass - and I'm LOVING it! I needed something to kick my bootie into shape more than just little 'ol me at home.
I've been waking up at 5:15 am to make it to the 6 am classes with a couple of girl friends. Having accountability partners is a game changer - it makes you get up early in the morning rather than sleeping in another hour and possibly skipping your workout altogether. We are having a blast, and we are getting a full hour of high intensity workouts in. We have to rush home to the kids so our husbands can get to work, so I end up stretching and cooling down at home.
Keeping your body hydrated is so important (we all know that), but lately I have been drinking filtered water for a little extra boost of health. It tastes better too!
We are currently using the Brita Stream water pitcher that has been amazing for filtering our tap water. You can absolutely taste the difference in regular tap water vs. filtered tap water. This pitcher filters out the chlorine - it's just something you have to taste to believe! It's Available at Target, which is nice since we moms tend to go there a lot.
It's easy to fill up and it pours through the filter 10x faster*
Its slim design makes it easier to store in the fridge next to all our other food. It's skinnier than a carton of almond milk!
As I hydrate, I do basic stretches through my arms and legs or wherever is needed. Starting my day this way has been a game changer. I get so much more done and I'm happier since I get some "me" time before my kids wake up.
